After graduating from Seale Hayne I spent 15 years with Bocm Pauls (formally BOCM Silcock) initially as a ruminant specialist, becoming a national feed nutritionist and finally sales manager for ruminant feed in the south west. I was instrumental in restructuring feed production in the south west working with the factory operation.

With AH Warren Trust I created and managed the milk supply chain for a major UK retailer, concentrating on the development of a milk pool and its relationship with the retailer. Initially delivering bespoke standards and assurances to the customer, key areas were then adopted bringing real farm benefits through knowledge transfer sessions, workshops, and detailed benchmarking. Farmer group facilitation and training became a key area of my work to deliver the initiatives effectively.
Throughout my career I have liaised with contacts in the sector including the Organic certifiers, Farm assurance bodies (Red Tractor), levy board (AHDB) and NGOS’ such as Compassion in World Farming and RSPCA (technical standards committee) as well as the raft of farm input suppliers. I have been involved with research and development work with the universities of Aberystwyth, Bristol, Reading and Royal Agricultural University.
Since 2008 Rosemary has worked with Andrew supporting the farming business with her accounting skills as well as covering staffing, health and safety, farm assurance requirements, analytics and generally keeping up with the constantly changing administration requirements within the dairy industry.
